Our Ragdolls are really our special pets, and have been small blessings to us. We are very small and VERY selective about which bloodlines we use. EliteRags is a closed cattery to guard our cattery and your new baby against unnecessary illnesses and medications. We do have a waiting list if you would like to adopt one of our babies. For those seeking the purrrfect pet, except for the paint job, they are getting "show quality" bloodlines and paying "pet" prices.
We do not breed cats to make money or as one of our businesses. We are doing this so that the people who buy our kittens, receive the ultimate in health, bloodlines and temperments; whether they purchase a pet or show quality. And, so that they can experience first hand these precious gifts from God.
Like all responsible breeders we do insist on spaying and neutering all pets; it’s the right thing to do, for them, for you and for us J.
Ragdoll Cats are often described as having a dog type personality because they follow their human family around the house and greet them at the door when they come home. Ragdolls will even come when they are called by name! Ragdolls tend to go limp when held, hence the name “ragdoll”, and love to have belly rubs like a puppy! We think they are the purrrrrfect petJ.

If you are interested in a Ragdoll kitten from EliteRags, contact us to put your name on our waiting list. When you contact me by email, please include your preferences, such as, color, sex, age and pattern.
About 3-4 weeks after we have kittens, I contact those on our waiting list. Those people are given the first opportunity to reserve an EliteRags kitten.
We email photos and descriptions to the prospective new owner and when one is selected, a $200.00 non-refundable deposit, per kitten, is required to hold the kitten of your choice. Sometimes you need two or more J! All kittens must be paid for in advance of pickup or delivery. We accept cash, checks, certified funds and PayPal. By using PayPal, you can use your major charge card, e-check or transfer from a savings or checking account for payment. If you choose this option, we will send you easy to follow instructions. This deposit will be used to spay or neuter your kitten, unless it is a show/breeder kitten; and for obvious reasons, is NOT refundable.
We will continue to nurture, train, socialize and love your kitten until it is ready to go home (usually at about 12 weeks of age). Before leaving for their new home, EliteRags kittens:
Are checked thoroughly by a veterinarian, and their health is guaranteed
Received their vaccinations
Are spayed or neutered, if so contracted
Are properly socialized to ensure they become acclimated quickly and safely
We have found that this takes about 10-12 weeks. At this age, our kittens are ready to venture out into your lives (and hearts), with a lot less stress. We on the other hand, will miss them terribly when they go.
Ragdolls are born white and obtain full color at about 2 years of age. Full maturity takes at least 4 years. Neutered males weigh between 15-20 pounds. Adult females weigh about 5 pounds less and are slightly shorter.

Shipping:
Kitten/cat prices do not include shipping cost. Arrangements can be made to ship your kitten/cat with an approved airline. Shipping is extra and at purchaser’s expense, and includs carrier, feeder cups, insurance and air transportation anywhere in the world. We also welcome you into our home to pick up your wonderful new baby by appointment.

No genetic defects; if there is a genetic defect causing death in the first year, it will be replaced from a different line;
New owner has 3 working days to have kitten checked by vet; if kitten is found in poor health, it can be returned for a full refund;
Return shipping and medical certificate will be at the buyer’s expense.
Refund Policy:
The deposit is not refundable, and only taken after the kitten has been seen in person or photographs are emailed. If there is a genetic defect causing death in the first year, the kitten will be replaced from a different line with the appropriate verification from a licensed veterinarian and a copy of the necropsy report.
Spaying or Neutering:
If the kitten is sold as a pet, it must be altered and I must have a signed copy of this fact from a licensed US veterinarian with complete phone number, before I forward registration papers. This documentation must be emailed or snail mailed to us at:

Inside:
Ragdolls are inside only cats, they can be trained to walk on a leash but they must never be allowed outdoors without a leash or in a container specifically made for cats.
Declawing:
We do not approve of declawing because this is an amputation of their toes. Even the new technique of “laser declawing” is still cruel, hurts the cat and denies them the natural ability to scratch and stretch properly to insure good health. They are trained to use cat trees or scratching posts before adoption and will not abuse your home. Please be prepared with a scratching post in your home, BEFORE you bring home your EliteRags baby.
